<p>After stabilizing the Hanon group, <a href="http://bornzone.net/xe/historia" target="_blank"><strong>Sewon</strong></a> was obliged to restructure the <em><a href="http://www.hanol.org/en/hanol.php" target="_blank"><strong>Hanol-gyo</strong></a> </em>religious foundation.1)</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>After assuming the leadership, he introduced the &rdquo;<em><strong>Art of Enlightenment and Awakening</strong></em>&rdquo; which is the expression of the <em><strong>Hanol spirit</strong> </em>in the form of art and architecture. <a href="http://www.powerkoream.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=1102216" target="_blank">He attempted to integrate art with the spiritual teachings of <em><strong>Hanol principles </strong></em>in order to transform <em><strong>Hanol-gyo</strong></em> into a more <strong>liberal, flexible and innovative organization</strong></a>. In accordance with the founder&rsquo;s last will, he succeeded in persuading the board and the Hanol spiritual committee to officially make religious conversion unnecessary and constitutionalized religious multiplicity: <strong>Hanol-gyo </strong>allows its participants and adherents to practice other religions as well.<font size="2">2) </font></p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bornzone.net/xe/HANART_Architecture" target="_blank"><img alt="past_btn" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/past4_link00.gif" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Instead of spending a massive amount of budget on the construction of religious churches and buildings in a time of financial crisis, he used the &quot;<strong>Art of Enlightenment</strong>&quot; to replace the symbolic function of the regional chapels of <strong>HANOL</strong>.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the <a href="http://blog.naver.com/hanol_blog" target="_blank">guidance to <strong>Hanol-gyo</strong></a>, he expressed the essence of the transcendental teachings on enlightenment and awakening - the self-liberation of consciousness.3)</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;Illuminating the uncontaminated lights of <strong>Enlightenment Art</strong> could represent the quintessence of the <a href="http://www.hanol.org/en/spirit.php" target="_blank"><strong>Hanol Spirit</strong></a> better than a thousand books about its analysis or explanation.&quot;4)</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<div class="past_s5_1"><img alt="past" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/ht_11.jpg" /> <img alt="past" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/ht_12.jpg" /></div>

<p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.bornzone.net/xe/Universal_Trinity" target="_blank"><img alt="past_btn" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/past4_link03.gif" style="width: auto;" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>He stated that &quot;the uncontaminated pure lights of <strong>Enlightening Art</strong> can more accurately speak for the <strong>Hanol Spirit</strong>&quot; than a thousand words he could use to explain.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>He officially proclaimed that the symbolic function of the <a href="http://www.hanol.org/en/hanart.php" target="_blank">regional chapels of <strong>HANOL</strong></a> could be replaced by the &ldquo;<em><strong>Art and Architecture of Enlightenment</strong></em>&rdquo;, and allowed particular traditional ceremonies and the formality of rituals to be substituted by a simple contemplation on the <strong>Enlightenment Art</strong> or meditation on self-awareness.5)</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>He attempted to transcend the existing belief system by integrating &lsquo;<strong>Art and Spirituality</strong>&rsquo;.</p>

<p><br />
<strong>Sewon</strong> introduced the concept of &#39;<strong>Spiritual Audience</strong>&#39; instead of the traditional notion of religious followers.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<div class="past_s5_2"><img alt="past" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/past_temple01.jpg" /> <img alt="past" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/past_temple02.jpg" /></div>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.naver.com/hanol_blog/30186869077" target="_blank"><img alt="past_btn" src="http://www.transart.co/images/sub/past4_link01.gif" /></a></p>

<p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><span style="font-size: 18px;"><strong>Art of Enlightenment and Awakening </strong></span></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
<strong>Trans-Art</strong> can also be regarded as the <strong>(Non-religious) elaboration of the</strong> &#39;<strong><a href="http://bornzone.net/xe/" target="_blank">Art of Enlightenment and Awakening</a></strong>&#39; - the reflection of <a href="http://blog.naver.com/hanol_blog/30186972324" target="_blank"><strong>Hanol Principle</strong></a>6) which he introduced as the leader of the <strong>HANOL</strong> spiritual foundation.</p>

<p><br />
<strong>Dangun</strong>, the Founding Father of <strong>Korea</strong>,7) initiated the <strong>&#39;Principles of Hanol Spirit&#39; </strong>(the teachings <strong>on enlightenment and awakening</strong>) introducing the possibility of spiritual transcendence to its people - <strong>the evolution of human consciousness from the Ego-state to the Transcendental-state</strong>.1)</p>

<p><br />
After 5000 years, the <a href="http://www.hanol.org/en/spirit.php" target="_blank"><strong>Hanol principles</strong></a> were consolidated into a religious foundation by <a href="http://www.hanol.org/en/founder.php" target="_blank"><strong>Shin Jeong Yil</strong></a>, the founder of the <strong>Hanol</strong> religion.8)</p>

<p><br />
However, after the sudden passing of the founder in 1999,9) the legal descendent <a href="http://bornzone.net/xe/historia" target="_blank"><strong>Sewon Shin</strong></a>10) inevitably took over the responsibility of leadership in an emergency, immediately after graduating from Oxford.11)</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><br />
During his leadership, he expressed the essence of the transcendental philosophy of the <a href="http://www.hanol.org/en/spirit.php" target="_blank"><strong>&#39;Hanol Principle</strong></a>&#39; in the <strong>&#39;spiritual art of Enlightenment and Awakening&#39; </strong>based on his own experience.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>After he resigned from the leadership of the <strong>HANOL</strong> foundation, he introduced <strong>Trans-Art</strong>.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Trans-Art </strong>can be considered the <strong>re-establishment of the &#39;<a href="http://bornzone.net/xe/" target="_blank">Art of Enlightenment and Awakening</a>: the quintessence of Transcendental philosophy&#39;</strong> in a pure art form <strong>(Non-religious form)</strong>, examined by his own experience of spiritual awakening; and the <strong>elaboration of &quot;<a href="http://bornzone.net/xe/on_Tokyo/13469" target="_blank">Super-Individual art</a></strong> (i.e. <strong>Trans-ego art</strong>)&rdquo; which he introduced at the Tokyo exhibition.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>He is expressing a <strong>glimpse of &lsquo;Enlightenment and Awakening&rsquo;</strong> which is &lsquo;beyond form&rsquo; by using the &lsquo;form of <strong>Trans-Art</strong>&rsquo;.</p>
